Welcome to Darlingford!

2024 marked Darlingford’s 125th anniversary. In preparation for hosting the anniversary party, the committee for the LUD of Darlingford wanted to welcome their guests with a new welcome sign. The sign hadn’t been updated for 25 years and it was time for a refresh.

One of the reasons why people love Darlingford is their nostalgia for it. Many return to visit their childhood home or to see the school they attended. Others come to visit the Memorial Park to honour war veterans, or to visit the heritage church.

I wanted the sign to have a warm, welcoming, and vintage feel, that would transport you back to a simpler time.
