Warrior Won School of Yoga

My friend Heather and I collaborated and created this beautiful brand together. We brainstormed over coffee multiple times to get things started on the right foot. From a brand discussion, to visual brainstorm board, to ideas swapped back and forth by email, this was definitely a labour of love – this project was one of the BIG one’s that initiated my ideas to start a business where I could collaborate and create with friends to help their businesses succeed.

Warrior Won, a play on the pose “Warrior One”, was all about HEART and a real, no-frills studio that would give students a container to practice yoga so they could take it off the mat and into the world. We wanted the idea of imperfection to come across, so we used a hand painted, black ink script. We needed something strong to represent “warrior”, so we used a bold colour palette. Photographer Britten Traughber was on-site to take amazing photos of students practicing yoga – which was a major contribution to the beautiful look of our fliers and website.

Consistency was key. The logo was our foundation, then we developed a flier. From these two elements, all other things flowed very freely into one cohesive brand.
