Darlingford’s 125th Anniversary

To celebrate Darlingford’s 125th anniversary, a group of community members came together to form a planning committee for a weekend-long celebration. As part of that committee, I was responsible for developing the visual identity, website, advertising, and social media graphics to help spread the word—not just within the town, but also to former residents and neighbouring communities.

Darlingford has a rich history as a rural gathering place. With its heritage school museum (formerly a functioning school), memorial park, and historic buildings, the town remains a meaningful landmark for those who live there and those who once called it home.

The brand identity needed to feel vibrant and celebratory, while also honouring the town’s past. I incorporated imagery, textures, and typography inspired by farming and rural aesthetics, and brought it to life with a bold, lively colour palette.
