Balancing Monkey Yoga
When the Balancing Monkey Yoga Studio changed hands and location, a subtle but fresh update was needed. Their original logo had a lot of value in the community and so our goal was to do a more subtle update. I thickened lines, added depth and placed the monkey on an organic, round shape so that he could have a bigger presence on multiple applications, big and small. In addition to the logo redesign, I also provided a brand key that would help staff members stay “on-brand” with fonts and colours.
I created a simple Squarespace website for the studio, created an email template, made templates for flyers that could be easily updated by studio admin and designed signage for the entrance of the studio. I also designed a set of icons for class types.

The logo redesign was subtle. Because the logo was still loved by the community and carried a lot of value, I kept many aspects of the original design. I thickened and smoothed out lines, added depth, and placed the monkey on an organic, round shape so that he could have a bigger presence on multiple applications, big and small.
